R&B legend Usher will perform the Apple Music Super Bowl LVII halftime show on Sunday, February 11, from 8–8:30 pm. Ready to headline. It will be her first time headlining half the show. Usher expressed her delight, calling it “the honor of a lifetime.” He hasn’t revealed his setlist or possible guest performers, but it’s common for the halftime show to feature surprise appearances by A-list artists.
While most performers are tasked with condensing their entire music catalog into an incredibly tight show that lasts about 13 minutes, Usher revealed that he managed to get 15.
“I can’t explain why, but it’s a fun thing I can do and craft,” Usher explained before the big game. “It was a huge strategic issue between me and my organization.”

Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show: Performers List

R&B legend Usher will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LVII halftime show. The “My Boo” singer will take the halftime show stage as a headliner for the first time, but it won’t be his first time grabbing the mic during a big game.
The singer told EW that he sees the performance as the end of his Las Vegas residency, which ended a two-year run late last year.
As with most halftime shows, pre-performance details are few and far between. However, Usher revealed to EW that his performance will be longer than the Super Bowl halftime show in years past. But he didn’t tip his hand about which songs he’ll perform or who, if anyone, might make a special guest appearance. Halftime show performances often feature a litany of A-list musical guests, but that’s not always true. During last year’s halftime show, Rihanna did not bring any guest performers, nor did she do the weekend two years ago.

Country Music Hall of Famer and recent The Voice coach Reba McEntire will also be at the mic during the 2024 Super Bowl. McEntire is listed to sing the national anthem, replacing Chris Stapleton, who sang the anthem in 2023.
It’s a fitting role for McEntire, as “The Star-Spangled Banner” has played a pivotal role in his career. McEntire sang the National Anthem at the 1974 National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City. That performance was heard by country singer Red Steagall, who was in the audience and helped finance her first recording, eventually leading to her first record deal. He continued to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the National Finals Rodeo for the next decade. He returned to those roots by singing the national anthem at the 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, similar to Super Bowl LVIII.

Post Malone will join McEntire during pre-game festivities. He will sing “America the Beautiful,” part of a three-song run that has launched the game since 2021.

Andra Day was enlisted to sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” often called the black national anthem. The song has been part of Super Bowl pre-game broadcasts since 2021, when Alicia Keys first sang it at the game.
Day, who announced plans to release her third album this month, is the fourth singer to perform the song on the most-watched U.S. television program since Mary Sung It in 2022, and last year, Abbott Elementary’s Sheryl Lee Ralph received the honor.

Tiesto was announced as the Super Bowl’s first in-game DJ in late January. The Grammy winner will play a set pre-game as players warm up during “special breaks” during the game.
The NFL first booked a pre-game DJ set for Super Bowl LIV in Miami, marking the fifth time the DJ has performed during warmups. DJ Khaled, D-Nice, Z, and DJ Snake previously held that slot. Tiësto, however, will be the first of those DJs to perform live during the game.
Super Bowl Halftime Show: History
Before Michael Jackson, the Super Bowl halftime show was an endless jumble of tributes from Hollywood (twice), Motown, the Big Band Era, the Caribbean, and Duke Ellington, from salutes to college marching bands and frantic flag-spinning tributes. We’ve also got New Kids on the Block (1991) singing their biggest hits and Gloria Estefan (1992) providing the soundtrack for Olympic figure skaters Dorothy Hamill and Brian Boitano’s “What Would Brian Boitano Do?”
Then we had the King of Pop at the Rose Bowl in 1993 — and the Super Bowl halftime show was always different.
