CONMEBOL Copa America 2024

South America’s premier international men’s soccer competition, the CONMEBOL Copa America 2024 Match, will be held in the United States from June 20 to July 14, 2024.

The tournament will begin with reigning Copa America and world champions Argentina, led by a seemingly ageless Lionel Messi, facing the winner of a March qualification playoff between Canada and Trinidad and Tobago.

Also in Group A are Peru and Chile, with the hosts USA in Group C alongside Uruguay, Panama, and Bolivia.
With Canada and Trinidad and Tobago meeting in a playoff on March 23 in Frisco, Texas, Brazil begins their bid to reclaim the title they last won in Group D in 2019 against either Costa Rica or Honduras.

The top two in each group will advance to the quarterfinals, with the final scheduled for July 14 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

The tournament will be broadcast live on the Fox Sports Network and the Fox Sports app in the United States.

TUDN will carry Spanish-language coverage in the United States with parent company TelevisaUnivision, Mexico’s rights holder. Canadian viewers can follow the action on TSN.

DirecTV will screen the event across much of South America, including Csport, a destination for fans in Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago.

TV Globo has exclusive rights for Brazil, with all their matches broadcast on free-to-air television. SportTV will show all 32 fixtures.

Twelve teams compete in this prestigious international football tournament, with CONMEBOL hosting this competition, which features leading South American countries such as Argentina, Peru, Chile, Canada/Trinidad & Tobago, Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, Jamaica, United States, Uruguay, Panama, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Costa Rica/Honduras.

Argentina:

Argentina are in group A of the Copa America 2023. They will emerge as a top contender for this edition as they have played in the final of the last two editions before crashing out from the quarter-final in the latest edition. In the last five editions of Copa America, Argentina has advanced to the final of four but won only one. They will play their first match against Chile. Argentina has won the Copa America 14 times. Similarly, Argentina lost in the 14 finals of the Copa America, which sums up 28 finals played by Argentina.

Chile:

Chile are grouped in Group A in the Copa America 2023 along with Argentina. They will take on Peru on 12th of June. Looking at the recent form, Chile are currently the successful nations in Copa America as they are the defending champions in last two editions before 2019. They are the champions of Copa America 2015 and Copa America 2016. Besides this, Chile has played in the final of three more Copa America but were defeated.

Brazil:

Brazil are the defending champions of the Copa America. They will play their first match against Costa Rica/Honduras. Though Brazil are most successful nation in terms of FIFA World Cup, they are far behind in Copa America. They have won Copa America 9 times, 6 less than the highest winners. However, Brazil has lost in the final of 11 occasions which sums up as Brazil had played in the final of 19 Copa America.

Bolivia:

Bolivia are drawn in group C of the Copa America 2023. They will play their first match against United States on 23 of June. Looking at the history, Bolivia has only won the mega event of South America once. They have won the Copa America in 1963 where they defeated Paraguay in the final. United States:

United States are drawn in group C of the Copa America 2023. They will play their first match against Bolivia. The United States is not a member of the South American Football Confederation CONMEBOL, but because CONMEBOL only has ten member associations, guest nations have regularly been invited since 1993. With four participations (and an upcoming fifth one), the U.S. is the second-most regular guest behind Mexico (ten participations).

Peru:

Peru is grouped in Group A. They will play their first match of Copa America 2023 on 21th June against Chile. Peru had won the Copa America two times. Similarly, they had hosted the mega event on six occasions. Besides those two editions, Peru never reached the finals of Copa America. Peru played the final match in the last edition.

Ecuador:

Venezuela:

Venezuela are in the Group B. They play their first match of the Copa America 2023 against the defending champion Ecuador on 22th June. They haven’t won the Copa America. However, they had finished fourth in Copa America 2011.

Uruguay:

Uruguay are the most successful nations in terms of Copa America in South America. They have won the Copa America 15 times, one more than second placed Argentina. Uruguay will begin their Copa America 2021 campaign with a match against Asian invitee Australia. on 13th June. Beside winning the 15 titles, Uruguay has reached the final of Copa America in 6 other occasions.

Paraguay:
