USFL – Birmingham Stallions VS Michigan Panthers Prediction and Overview

Birmingham Stallions (3-2 · 3RD IN SOUTH)

Last week, the Stallions got crushed down by the Houston Gamblers. The Gamblers showed an electrifying performance defeating the Stallions by 27 points, while the Stallions were able to score only 20.

In the first quarter, Mark Thompson concluded a robust 80-yard drive by scoring a 3-yard touchdown run. Giving the Gamblers a 7-0 lead.

The Stallions fought back, Alex McGough played a 91-yard drive manufacturing a nine-play, which resulted in CJ Marable scoring a 1-yard touchdown. Leading the score at 10-7.

In the fourth quarter, a pretty rainbow was launched by Terry Wilson for a 50-yard touchdown by Anthony Ratliff-Willaims. Williams broke three defensive backs of the Stallions on the play.

Another beautiful view of this beautiful touchdown was taken by a drone.

Thompson conquered his second touchdown, scoring a 2-yard run by a 59-yard drive. Houston attempted to extend its lead with a two-point conversion but failed because of the Stallions’ firm hold.

The Stallions attempted a drive but were turned over on downs by the Gamblers. Houston’s Thompson scored his third touchdown of the game on the first play after regaining possession on the Stallions’ 8-yard line. Despite a late Stallion score, they would hang on.

The Stations couldn’t really do much cause there wasn’t much time left. Only 1:41 was left of the fourth quarter.

The Stallions are preparing for a new offense strategy as they are going to face the Panthers. Making big plays could be a good way to advance. Moreover, putting lead players to take action can be a great strategy.

Michigan Panthers (2-3 · 3RD IN NORTH)

Michigan Panthers had been under great pressure as they lost two matches in the last two weeks. The Generals and Showboats crushed down the Panthers. Last week, The Showboats overpowered the Panthers by 29 points, while Panthers were only able to score 10.

Last week, Alex Kessman showed his skills again twice by scoring a 53-yarder and 54-yarder, giving the Showboats a 6-0 lead.

Cole Kelley made a 1-yard rushing touchdown, which came after Showboats 32 yard pass to get in scoring position. Memphis led to 13-0.

Jermaine Kelly Jr.’s interception ruined Panther’s 53-yard drive in the end zone. 13-3 was led by Showboats.

There wasn’t much action in the third quarter until Alex Kessman scored this third field goal putting Showboats up 16-3 at the end of the third quarter.

But the Panthers punched back by putting a 3-yard touchdown by Joe Walker passed by Josh Love.

Cole Kelley made his second touchdown. It was a 64-yard drive resulting in a 6-yard TD run for Kelley.

Memphis forced and stripped off the ball from Michigan’s possession and scored a touchdown. Leading score 29-10 and secured their first win of the season.

The Panthers were crushed badly in the previous weeks. So the head coach Mike Nolan is surely thinking of making some changes to the team. Firstly putting a strong backup for the defense and forcing the opposite team’s offense under pressure to make mistakes. And taking advantage of those mistakes can be beneficial.
